Movie Ocean's 8: The likes of Jason Statham, Tom Cruise, Bradley Cooper, Jeremy Renner, and Samuel L. Jackson are known to portray a peculiar performance in their heist movies. But this time around, tighten your seat belts for Gary Ross (director), brings you a rare crew of thieves and con women in Ocean's 8.  

The upcoming spin-off of the original Ocean’s trilogy brings us notable Hollywood figures known for their romantic movies. This time, the characters shed off the ‘good picture’ and attempt a new identity that will prove how far they can take their acting abilities. In the latest Ocean’s installment, it is far clear that the previous crew is perfectly replaced by a right team of con women.

What is Ocean’s 8 All About?

The film brings us a character known as Debbie. She happens to be an estranged sister of Danny Ocean (George Clooney) from Ocean’s 8 centres. Once released from prison, Debbie Ocean (Sandra Bullock) assembles a crew of masterminds, generally women to pull off a heist at an upcoming Met Gala. Their goal is to match away with a $150 million diamond necklace untouched.

What’s Ocean’s 8 Cast?

Debbie Ocean (Sandra Bullock) leads the cast, a notable thief with a luscious brain. She is joined by Cate Blanchett, who acts as Lou and Debbie's close friend, Anne Hathaway as Daphne Kluger, Matt Damon as Linus Caldwell, Sarah Paulson as Tammy, Rihanna as Nine Ball, Mindy Kaling as Amita, Awkwafina as Constance, Helena Bonham Carter as Rose Weil, Dakota Fanning as Penelope Stern, Richard Armitage, James Corden as John Frazier, and Damian Young as David Welch.

The list is quite heavy and judging from the trailer, these ladies have some bombs to throw at us. Sandra Bullock takes on the leading role and to be certain, her character in the movie is excellent. She displays that ‘don’t care’ phrase and she is not the usual girl you previously watched in Miss Congeniality and the likes.

Anne Hathaway somehow maintains her normal character as observed in a number of films. She is simple and a fan of showbiz, making her a target. Stretching to Rihanna as Nine Ball, yeah! This could be a unique character that she will feel proud off in years to come. She comes as a genius, the only mastermind behind the entire technological part of the heist.

Awkwafina is a thief and certainly the best at it as portrayed in the film. Dakota Fanning joins the crew and being a new character in the Hollywood industry Ocean’s 8 is a real deal for her career. Then there goes Cate Blanchett, a character of all ages. She rolls in style for her role in Ocean’s 8 and yes, the Academy award-winning actress can’t be missed for any reason.

All in all, the latest crew led by Sandra Bullock seems to be a perfect replacement for the former team that consisted of Julia Roberts, Brad Pitt, and George Clooney.
